Hani Alqam was born in Amman, Jordan, in 1977. He received a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Ministry of Culture Training Centre in 1991. With solo exhibitions in Amman at the Spanish Cultural Center (2004) and at Zara Gallery (2002), he has also participated in various group exhibitions, including 'Tracks: Artists Working in a Social Context' (2006) in Ireland and 'Hues' (2003) at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts.
